Your brows and lips will look bold, dark, and more defined than expected. This is NORMAL! They may also appear slightly thicker, but don’t worry, they will soften in both shape and colour as they heal.
Your brows and lips will darken further as your skin starts its natural healing process. A protective layer (similar to a scab) will form, this is your body’s way of sealing the area. It’s important to remember that mild itching is common, please don’t scratch or pick.
The healing skin will start to flake and peel off in small pieces, which is completely normal! It’s important to let the flakes fall off naturally, as picking can cause uneven healing or loss of pigment.
Don’t panic! Your ombré brows and lip blush may seem too light at first, but this is part of the process. A layer of healing skin is still present, making the colour appear softer than it really is. This will improve over time, and if needed, we can always add more.
By now, the skin has fully regenerated, and the true shape and colour of your ombré brows and lip blush will begin to reveal. Any patchiness or unevenness will be assessed and perfected at your touch-up appointment.
